Priyanka Chopra In Zanjeer

Priyanka Chopra was signed to play lead role in the remake of ‘Zanjeer’ to be directed by Apoorva Lakhia. Priyanka Chopra’s role would be a far cry from Jaya Bhaduri’s chakku-churee walee in the original ‘Zanjeer’, says a source.

Priyanka will play a woman of today. She will be cast as a US-returned owner of a cafe. Though she will be dressed most glamourously she won’t be doing any songs or item number.

Interestingly Priyanka has been paid on a par with the film’s leading man Ramcharan Teja, close to Rs 6 crores for both the Hindi and Telegu versions of ‘Zanjeer’.

Our very reliable sources tell us that Teja has promised to help Priyanka with her Telegu if she promises to help him with his Hindi.

Zanjeer’s co-producer Amit Mehera confirmed the casting of Priyanka Chopra.

Farhan and Vidya are together in Shadi Ke Side Effects

Finally the sequel of ‘Pyar Ke Side Effects’ (PKSE) is happening. But it won’t the original cast of Rahul Bose and Mallika Sherawat. It will have Farhan Akhtar and Vidya Balan. The title of the sequel is ‘Shadi Ke Side Effects’ (SKSE). The film will talk about when Trisha and Sid get married and what happens in their life and how their love story goes forward.

Pritish Nandy, the procucer of the film says, ‘Shadi Ke Side Effects’ begins where ‘Pyar Ke Side Effects’ end. Everyone including director Saket Choudhary and music director Pritam remain same except the lead pair. ‘Shadi Ke Side Effects’(SKSE) is a clever, wild, funny film shows the facinating ways love works before and after marriage. ‘Pyar Ke Side Effects’ (PKSE) film’s story had very strong connectivity with audience and it had four songs that became very popular. So the Pritish Nady decided to make a sequel but unfortunately it a took a while in writing. Saket is a slow writer but a brilliant diorector.

Sharman Joshi said No character is difficult for Me

Sharman Jsohi has done more than 20 films in his career in Bollywood. Most of the films were multi starrers. But Sharman considers ‘3 Idiots’ and ‘Rand De Basanti’ the best ones so far in his career. “In my career I would like to be a part of films like ‘Rand De Basanti’ and ‘3 Idiots’ said Sharman. His upcoming movie has been a fulfilling experience.

In young age most of the actors are hesitate to play a father, but Sharman had no such fear. Being an actor no character is difficult for him. He says how much you put yourself to come out of your comfort zone for a role. Sharman will be playing a father to a 10 year old boy in his upcoming film.

In real life has being father to three kids helped him play a dad on-screen. Rajesh Mapuskar, the director of the film, was scepital about Sharman playing a father. Sharman Joshi wanted to give a best shot and it comes out very well. The film was offered to some big stars before him. Sharman gave about 30-35 auditions for the role. Its was a parsi character.He had to put on 10 kilos for the role. That was tough.

Jism 2 Early Release

The makers of the film Jism 2 are excited to release the film which stars Randeep Hooda and Indo-Canadian porn star Sunny Leone. The actual release date of the film is Aug 3. Now the film’s release date has now been forward to July 27.



Jism 2 to release one week before of schedule. The film release on July 27. Peoples Monsoon just got even more wet and wild. Director Pooja Bhatt has previously told that the film will come out on Aug 3.

Jism 2 is a sequel of the film Jism which is released in 2003. In Jism 2 Sunny Leone will see as seductress Izna. The love triangle also features Arunoday Singh.

R. Balakrishnan aka Balki to shoot with Big B in his Next film

R. Balki, who presented Amithabh Bachchan in unexpected roles in ‘Cheeni Kum’ and ‘Paa’, is now explore one more side of the legend Amitabh Bachchan in his next movie which is hit the box office by the end of the year.

Balki says that he is writing a film with Big B and it will show one more side of him. “Amitji is my dream actor” Balki told IANS. He said “ Right now I cannot talk much about the movie. It is too early.”

When asked about the shooting of the film R. Balki said we will start the film by the end of the year and we will be shooting the complete film in India.

Amitabh Bachchan is not taking too many projects post his surgery but Balki clearly said that he is absolutely fine.

In the movie ‘Cheeni Kum’ Big B was seen as a 60+ bachelor who falls in love with a 30+ girl, played by Tabu. ‘Paa’ saw him as a progeria patient.

Vidya Balan’s Father doesn’t think “The Dirty Picture” Vulgar

After the release of ‘The Dirty Picture’ Vidya is known as Bollywood’s ‘dirty’ girl. Vidya’s father says that he was impressed with his daughter’s performance in the film ‘The Dirty Picture’ and think she is a born actress.

Vidya’s father P. R. Balan told reporters an event that “she is bold, beautiful and born actress. A new actress will be born again on 2 Dec 2011”. He didn’t find anything vulgar in the film ‘The Dirty Picture.

The Dirty Picture released last year, was an unofficial biopic southern sex symbol Silk Smitha and Vidya Balan played the character. Critics and viewers both like this film. P. R. Balan said that he knew the film will be a super duper hit in the box office.

Director Milan Lutharia gracefully directed and it will be a definitely a super hit film. The second half of the film is better than the first half. “God bless my child and you are very beautiful” says Vidya’s father.

Emraan Hashmi's career's turning point is 'Sanghai'

'Serial Kisser' Emraan Hashmi is better known for his romantic roles. Emraan said his next film 'Sanghai' would be a turning point in his career and set a new benchmark for the film industry.

Emraan looks dark complxioned, buck tooth and sporting a paunch. It was the directors concept who conceived the look for Emraan.

 Emraan told that it is the interesting character that he has played in his career. Emraan is working hard for the character and whatever was required for the character he did that. Director wanted him to look in a certain way. Emraan said, it is unfair to say that I am looking ugly in the film. The character Jogi probably is very attractive for some women.

This was a good change for Emraan and not to do same thing again and again. He had to gain 9 - 10 kg weight and go a few shades darker.

He would like to do more films like 'Sanghai' and it is a new turning point in his career and the industry. In this film Emraan shadding his 'serial kisser' image but there is a kissing scene in the film. Sanghai is set to release on June 8.

Sonakshi is not 'Bold' enough for Item number

Shatrughan Sinha's daughter Sonakshi Sinha admits that she is not Bold enough for an item number but she won't mind doing one if presented in a right manner.

Till now she has not been offered any item song. "If there is a good song she is convinced enough and presented ina right way, then why not"  Sonakshi told reporters in Gurgaon at a mall. She was here to promote her film Rowdy Rathore with Akshay Kumar and Director Prabhu Deva releases this friday.

Reporters says what about Chammak challo chail chabeeli in Rowdy Rathore? Sonakshi explained that this is not an item number.It is a wedding song.

In the movie Dabangg Sonakshi made her debute as a village girl and Rowdy Rathore will see her in a similar desi avatar.

Sonakshi is no rush to change her image. She is not waiting a role that will change her desi girl avatar. Her character is good and she won't mind doing it. Right now she is very happy to representing own culture.

Arjun Kapoor won't restrict himself as an Actor

Arjun Kapoor's recently released film 'Ishaqzaade' has garnered a lot of praise and he says that he wants to live up to everyone's expectations by experimenting with various types of  roles.

Producer Boney Kapoor's 26 year old son said that what project to pick up next he has not decided and he does not want to stick to one genre and wants to explore  himself as a good actor.

Arjun never really thought about what he wish to avoid and what he want to do. He is open to everything and want to be seen as a good actor who can do everything. He is not restricting himself to any characteristics. He would be haapy to do a hardcore action film or a sweet roamantic film.

The actor believes talent is most important for surviving in the industry. Just because of he is a producer's son doesn't mean him would have easy to ride. Public doesn't think like that. They are intelligent and sensible and doesn't matter whose son or daughter you are.

He is bound by a contract with Yash Raj Films. He is flexible  to work with others as well as in the intrim period. Arjun also said that he is avid film watcher.

After all he is a producer's son so no matter who is producing his film. He would be always conscious of the fact that no one should lose the money. His dream is doing all sorts of cinema while keeping in mind that every film of him has to be commercially viable at least.

Mahie Gill Initially Refused to Play "Mona Darling"

Mahie Gill is an Indian actress, is excited to do her first film where she will play a glam doll.

Now these days Mahie is busy to shoot for the sequel of 'Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangstar'. In the remake of 'Zanjeer' she will recap the role of Mona Darling. Noe talking about her fourthcoming roles, Mahie says that it will be facinating to act with Irrfan Khan with 'Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangstar'. In the film 'Paan Singh Tomar' I have worked with him. Irrfan is a very fine actor and does not put any pressure on his co-actors.

Mahie admits that she initially shied away from the doing the remake of 'Zanjeer'. She never imagined of doing such a role where Mahie only have to look good. She has been associated with films where she has no makeup look. But this is completely different. She had initially refused to do this role too but it was the director who showed a lot more confidence in her. Now, she see it as a challenge. She will be doing what she has not done before. Shooting of 'Zanjeer' of her portion is expected to begin on June 30.  

Rakhi Sawant will do better 'ooh lala' than Vidya

Rakhi Sawant, the Item girl is all set to star in the Bengali remake of "The Dirty Picture" and Rakhi says she will better than National Award winning actress Vidya Balan.

The 33 year old will play a sex siren in the untitled movie to be directed by Bengali actress turn politician Shatabdi roy and she says her fim will set more tongues wagging than the original.

The film is based on an item girl's life and it is only befitting that Rakhi take on the role as she is the original item girl of Bollywood. She admire Vidya a lot. Rakhi think she is a very good actress and she did a great job in the film. But now it is Rakhi's turn and she will do better ooh lala than Vidya. After this film Rakhi hoping that everyone will chant only her name.

Tapas Pal, the Tollywood actor and member of Parliament, is producing the film.

Besides Item songs and Television shows, the Pardesiya girl has done some small roles in films like Dil Bole Hadippa, Main Hoon Na, Mumbai Xpress and she is excited about her first film as a full fledged actress.

Rakhi Sawant only done item songs and small roles in films. This is the first time that she will doing a full film in bengali with dialogues, song and dance. She already done an item song in Shatabdi's film Om Shanti. She is learning bengali because she want to dub for herself. Rakhi asked the director to give her the full Bengali script written in Hindi.

Rakhi Sawant known for her bold image but the actress says she is thrilled and nervous about shooting intimate scenes in the film as she has never done it before.

Vidya Balan Endorse a Brand and gets 30 lakh

Bollywood Actress Vidya Balan endorse a brand and visit to Ernakulam for the shoot. The shoot will be held at Malayatoor, on the outskirts of Kochi.

Vidya Balan doing many commercial campaigns before, but this is the first time as a brand ambassador. However the 30 lakh, that she is rumoured to be getting for this campaign does not match with her success that she acheived on screen.

The endorsement is a big jewellery brand says a source. Even Vidya lived in Malayali not in Kerela and brings the local connect. Now Vidya Balan is big name and she really deserves a more.

In Bollywood there seems no logic how endorsement deals are made. Actors' remunerations are mostly not commensurate with their talent. Take an example, Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone get paid more than Vidya balan.

Now 'The Dirty Picture' and 'Kahaani', both the films got doubled their investment at the box office and a very good responce. Vidya Balan called a 'Hero' both the filmmakers Sujoy Ghosh and Milan Luthria to break into the 2 crore price. Where Katrina, Deepika offered 2.5-3 crore without any compansation.

Emraan's wish to Beat shahid

Emraan Hashmi is always known have hit songs in all his films and perhaps his current sucess rate is too high that made him a bit demanding.

Apparently Emraan told his producer of Ek Thi Daayan , the music director of the film Vishal Bhardwaj that he need a bigger song than Dhan-Te-Nan which is composed by Vishal for Shahid in the film Kaminey.

Emraan Hashmi's movie always come with hit songs. Times Music comapnies demands on a promotional video that if there is no scope for song in the movie. Dibakar Banerjee, the director of the film Shanghai, to add sensational song to the soundtrack because the music company demanded.

Vishal Bhardwaj, who is known for his most popular songs like Beedi Jalai Le, Dhan-Te-Nan, Ibne Batoota come together with Emraan, the expectations are too high. The reason for the 'bigger' song is that Emraan is ambitious in nature. He wants the songs to keep in mind more than Shahid.

Emraan wants to give 'Ek Thi Daayan' the best soundtrack of the year. He loves Vishal's music and the song Dhan-Ye-Nan.

Jannat 2 Hits The BOX Office

After the huge success of Jannat in 2008, Bhatt camp released Jannat 2 on 4th May 2012. Emraan Hashmi plays  the lead role in both the films. Sonal Chauhan was the lead actress in Jannat has been replaced by Esha Gupta in the sequel. Esha Gupta is looking in a bold avatar in Jannat 2.

Emraan plays the character Sonu Dilli, who is a rookie gun dealer in the movie. He is effective in aggressive scenes and cold feeted moments, portraying the conflicting emotions in the movie. He is rough and cool at the same time, romances with the lady, kissing and love making in Hashmi (Serial Kisser) style.

Randeep Hooda plays the role  ACP Pratap who lost his wife in a shootout. In the angry young man cop avatar, he stuns people with unheard pain. He tracks down Sonu Dilli as an informer and disclose the illegal gun racket.

Debutante Esha Gupta plays the role Jaanvi and romances with Emraan and kisses passionately. In the movie her role is very essential to the plot.

So all in all Jannat 2 deserves a huge suceess.
